By accessing or using SD Home Pros ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

SD Home Pros is an online directory that connects homeowners with local service providers. We are an information platform only, similar to a phone book or classified listing service.

3. No Endorsement or Guarantee

The inclusion of any contractor in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of their services. SD Home Pros:

• Does NOT verify contractor licenses or insurance
• Does NOT guarantee the quality of work performed
• Does NOT guarantee the accuracy of listed information
• Does NOT employ or supervise any listed contractors
• Is NOT a party to any agreement between you and a contractor

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying contractor licenses and insurance before hiring
• Checking references and reviews from multiple sources
• Obtaining written contracts and estimates
• Ensuring work meets local building codes and regulations
• Any disputes that arise between you and a contractor

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SD HOME PROS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any damages, losses, or injuries arising from your use of contractors found through our Service
• The conduct, actions, or omissions of any contractor
• Any disputes between users and contractors
• Property damage, personal injury, or financial loss
• Fraud, misrepresentation, or scams by any party

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SD Home Pros, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or any transaction with a contractor.

7. Contractor Listings

Contractors listed on our platform:

• Are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings
• Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• May be removed at our discretion for any reason
• Grant us permission to display their business information publicly

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
